Cedric announced a few weeks ago he was leaving Manau (as well as the musical world Sad

) so the band is now lead by Martial on his own. Consequently, his solo career won't be continued under the name of Martial as it had been done for Premier pas (First Step), his first solo album.

Finally, the official website of Manau is no longer available as they left Universal Music, so here are the news !!

I had to hear the news on msn, and I've been moody for like 2 days. It was really getting me. What a load of crap. I felt so frustrated, because I never had the change to see them live, which was my number one wish. It's a broken-heart kind of feeling. Cèdric, in heaven's name, why brother? Does anybody know about the reason? Or how Martial takes it up? Thanks..

Funny by the way, that the forum finally has an English subboard at the time Manau just broke up.

We're all dissapointed and all that, but in the end I don't think we have the right to complain. We've got to be grateful that you were part of Manau at all. Without you, no Manau. No way. I don't know about everyone else, but with your role in the group, you've given me as a fan more than you think. You componised the last two albums, and I want to let you know how much your music helped me when I felt alone in one of my teenage dips and depressions. When I felt like a worthless person, the music made me proud of who I was. Proud of my own, personal taste. The music style belonged to me, and of that I was proud. Nobody could take away my love for the music, it made me feel stronger.

You kick ass brother. All the luck in the rest of your life. Find peace. We're behind you. And your decision.

Manau has a new song (not sure of the title) it was written for a French TV game called 'Intervilles' (with physical games and cows to prevent the candidates to manage them too easily) So you understand the lyrics are not as interesting as usually (but not stupid though, you know Martial Laughing

) and Martial performed it on TV during the game. Great, no it had been a long time since we saw him on TV singing "live"

Some news guys !!

The first Manau's best Of will be in sale in France on November 12th !! We don't know which songs will be on it but it will help us wait for the fourth new album and maybe more French people will realize how fantastic their songs are !! I really hope so !!

The Best of has been relaesed in France now (yeah !!) but can it be found in your countries ?? There has been some advertisement on TV (not enough sadly) here but maybe you were able to buy it too ?? Russia may not be the first place they would think about to sell their albums but whu knows ?? LOL

Whatever, still no news for the new album, but we know how to be patient, don't we ? And Manau is gonna be on TV for promotion (Téléthon I think) so they may talk abour it some more !
